I am a psychiatrist with over 10 years of experience gathered from working in various centers throughout the nation. I also have experience in Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) in adults and children and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
I have a special interest in psychotherapy including Mindfulness Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy. I do incorporate these elements in my day to day work with patients.
My approach is one of holistic, patient centred and compassionate care, helping my patients achieve their full potential in life.

I am a Consultant Psychiatrist who provides comprehensive psychiatric care for adolescents, adults, and older adults. I obtained my MBBS from Universiti Malaya (UM) in 2009 and a clinical master's degree in Psychiatry (Doctor of Psychiatry, DrPsych) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2021.
I adopt a holistic, evidence-based approach by integrating pharmacotherapy, psychotherapy, and psychoeducation to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs. I am committed to fostering a safe and supportive therapeutic environment where patients and their families can work collaboratively towards recovery and improved quality of life.

Before pursuing my master’s degree, I spent 13 years in the corporate setting, mainly in sales and marketing, which helps me better understand clients facing work stress, career pressure, burnout, and life transitions.
I work with an integrative approach, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy skills, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and self-compassion-based work where suitable.

I am a Clinical Psychologist providing psychotherapy, psychological assessment, and mental health support to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
I completed my Master of Clinical Psychology with Distinction and gained clinical experience across hospitals, community mental health centres, NGO, educational, and private practice settings. I have supported individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, emotional regulation difficulties, neurodevelopmental conditions, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Prior to and alongside my clinical training, I accumulated over 10 years of experience working with children and adolescents in educational and behavioural support settings, which continues to inform my work with young people and their families.
I adopt a collaborative, client-centred, and strengths-based approach to therapy. My work is informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), while remaining flexible to each individual's unique needs, values, and goals.
Outside of clinical practice, I am passionate about mental health advocacy, psychoeducation, and community outreach. I enjoy participating in mental health talks, workshops, screenings, and awareness programmes that promote wellbeing and reduce stigma.
